AIAIAI has launched the TMA-2 DJ Wireless, a version of its modular TMA-2 DJ headphones that offers wireless functionality specifically tailored for DJ performance use.
The new model uses the company’s W+ Link technology, a proprietary wireless protocol boasting ultra-low latency of under 10ms, allowing DJs to mix and monitor in real time without the typical lag associated with Bluetooth audio, as first seen in AIAIAI’s Studio Wireless+ model.
While wireless DJ headphones are generally considered impractical due to latency issues and inconsistent audio quality, AIAIAI is claiming superior audio quality alongside a reliable connection – something we will of course be testing when we review these.

Additionally, AIAIAI says the headphones have a signature punchy sound profile, optimised for club and stage environments. As with all AIAIAI models, they are modular and repairable, and the wireless transmitter is a separate module that connects to the mixer or controller via analogue mini-jack. Users can switch between wireless and wired mode as needed.
