CTRLCAP is a special fader cap that lets you adjust effects on your DJ software by squeezing it. It replaces the standard fader cap on your mixer or DJ controller, and it sends Midi signals wirelessly to a dongle connected to your laptop. This lets you manipulate controls on your software such as effects parameters and volume – it can even be used to control lighting software. You can send various Midi signals depending on how hard you pinch the CTRLCAP, and its sensitivity to pinching can be customised through the accompanying Caps Companion app. The company claims that it can run for up to eight hours on a single charge.
