If gold is your thing – Pioneer DJ just announced a new colourway for its DDJ-SB3 controller. The DDJ-SB3-N features gold-coloured jogwheels as well as a gold silkscreen print for the faceplate for a unique look that goes with the company’s just-released HDJ-X5BT-N gold headphones. You still get the same features as the original DDJ-SB3 including two-channel capability, eight performance pads, Serato DJ compatibility and the Pad Scratch mode.
Pioneer DJ loves putting out limited edition models of its popular gear: the DDJ-SX and DDJ-SZ for instance received an all-gold wraparound look, and its CDJs get both white and platinum versions. This new DDJ-SB3-N has gold accents but is decidedly more muted and conservative compared to the aforementioned DDJ-SX-N and DDJ-SZ-N models.
