Over To You: Where Can I Find Music For A Bollywood DJ Gig?

Digital DJ Tips Platinum Group member Vic asks: “Have any of you guys ever DJed a Bollywood-style wedding? If yes, where can I find the appropriate music in high-quality MP3 format?”

That’s a great question, Vic and one that has us stumped. None of us at Digital DJ Tips HQ have ever DJed a Bollywood-style wedding before. I did attend an Indian wedding when I was younger though, and I remember having great fun dancing to the Bhangra beats they put on. As far as finding high-quality MP3s goes, try All Indian DJs Club and downloads4djs (thanks to Michael from the Facebook group for the links!).

Have a dig around both sites to give yourself a good idea of what you might need. If you can’t find the songs in the appropriate quality, at least you have a list of artist names to work from that you can use to download elsewhere.

As we know so little about this genre, we thought it would be best to open the question up to our readership and see what advice they have for you, Vic.
