After a two-year break, Evermix is back with a major update for DJs looking to record and livestream high-quality audio directly from their controllers or mixers. Launched on presale this week, the new EvermixBox 5 combines upgraded hardware, a redesigned mobile app, and integrated livestreaming.

The EvermixBox 5 promises a significant +16dB increase in dynamic range, improved crowd mic support with phantom power, a built-in high-pass filter, and USB-C connectivity as standard.

Want to livestream and record your DJ sets in one go? Alongside the Evermix Pro app, DJs can livestream directly to YouTube, TikTok, and MixCloud while recording their sets.

It pairs with the new Evermix Pro app, which enables livestreaming and multi-platform integration, including TikTok, MixCloud, YouTube, and SoundCloud. DJs can now record and livestream simultaneously, with editing tools also available within the app. The system is fully compatible with both iPhone (Lightning or USB-C) and Android devices.

Why the break?

Evermix says it needed to restructure due to global supply chain challenges since 2023, and the company has taken time to rebuild its ecosystem from the ground up. While the EvermixBox 4 remains functional, EvermixBox 5 introduces a host of new capabilities and marks a full return to form for the brand.

EvermixBox 5 is priced at £149 including worldwide shipping, with units set to dispatch in early June 2025. The Evermix Pro app will be released at the end of April – more info can be found on their website.
