If you have any music at all on your iPhone (personally I sync my smart playlist of my current DJ set so I can carry around my “box” for a quick mix at all times), you owe it to yourself to have a DJ app on there – and at this price, you really can’t go wrong with djay.
The app has two beautifully animated decks with sync, EQ, looping, auto-zoom waveforms, tight iTunes integration (although the ability to sort by BPM would be great), and even the ability to record your sets for listening back later.
You can add a splitter cable and – I’m being serious here – it is completely possible to DJ a full party anywhere with just this app. It’s ridiculous how far we’ve come in such a short space of time. If you’ve got an iPhone, do yourself a favour and get this today while you can; I guarantee you’ll end up mixing in places you never thought you would!
