Entry-level controller manufacturer Hercules announced this week at NAMM 2022 that the second version of its Inpulse 300 controller will be compatible with Serato, joining its other Serato Inpulse controller, the Inpulse 500.
Hercules also says the new controller will have improved jogwheels for easier scratching, as well as lights on the tempo faders and beneath the jogwheels to help new DJs learn which way to adjust the speed of their tracks to master beatmixing.

As well as working out of the box with Serato DJ Lite, and with Serato DJ Pro when that software is bought/subscribed to by the user, the controller will ship with Hercules’ own highly capable DJUCED software, which itself has just celebrated its tenth anniversary.
The controller is due for full release in September 2022, and scheduled to cost £180/$200/€200. More info on Hercules controllers on the Hercules website.
