Algoriddim has announced that it has won Best Windows App 2024 in Microsoft’s end-of-year awards. The company won the award in the AI category, celebrating its Djay Pro software’s Neural Mix stems technology and, perhaps more significantly, its Fluid Beatgrid feature. The latter is unique to Algoriddim’s platforms and effectively makes manual beatgridding a thing of the past.

The award is significant because the company has sometimes been seen in the past as Apple-centric, with Mac, iPhone, and iPad versions receiving new features ahead of Windows and Android, sometimes by years. Feature parity between the different versions has improved recently – something that this award recognises in Djay Pro for Windows.

We would hope it signals a better serving of non-Apple DJs by this company with its software in the future, something perhaps also demonstrated by the company’s well-received Meta Quest VR DJ software. Congratulations to Algoriddim from everyone at Digital DJ Tips.
