DJ Magazine is probably best known globally for its annual Top 100 DJs poll. But the monthly London-based magazine has long been a bible for working DJs, offering thorough and informed coverage of clubs, DJing, dance music and DJ equipment. However, even in Great Britain it can be hard to obtain, and it’s expensive to subscribe to from elsewhere in the world – until now, that is. Because now you can get the complete magazine in downloadable PDF format for an annual subscription of £12 (around US$19). As this offer includes three back editions, it works out at around US$1.30/£0.80/€0.90 a copy, which is great value to keep yourself up to date with all that’s going on in the DJ and wider clubbing world.
The print magazine comes with a cover-mounted CD each issue, which unfortunately you don’t get access to with this offer, but it’s still great value. Settle down with it on an iPad or laptop and you’ve got a decent monthly read for pennies, wherever you are in the world.
(By the way, in case you were wondering, we’re not getting anything from DJ for this piece – it’s just that being based in sunny Spain, Digital DJ Tips struggles to get the magazine fast each month, and seeing we’ve just discovered this new PDF subscription feature ourselves, we thought we’d share the good news with you.)
