LC6000 Prime deck controllers for Prime 4
Firstly, Prime 4 owners are now able to use the LC6000 Prime deck controllers with their units – a definite omission at the launch of the LC6000 Prime and a feature that Prime 4 users have been crying out for.
That means Prime 4 DJs can now easily turn their units into four-deck systems by the relatively cheap addition of two LC6000s.
New Prime 4 performance views
Hand in hand with the above is the news that Prime 4 now has two new four-channel waveform views, an essential addition for use with the LC6000 Prime decks.
The two new views are necessary because users of the LC6000s with, say, the SC6000 Prime media players of course have two screens, unlike the one screen on the Prime 4.
But now there are two new views that combine all four waveforms either horizontally or vertically on the single Prime 4 screen, for easy simultaneous four-deck mixing.

Compatibility with new OSes
With both a new Windows OS (Windows 11) and a new Mac OS (macOS12, Monterey) recently launched, DJ software has been scrambling to keep up.
But as of Engine 2.1, the software officially works with both of these operating systems. That makes it an essential upgrade for all users who are keeping their computers up to date.
The update is free to all users, and is available now. More info on the Engine DJ website.
