Deckadance 2.5
A brand new version of Deckadance has just been released, and is the first after having been acquired by Stanton from Image-Line.

A new version of long-running DJ software Deckadance is available. This is the first release with Stanton at the helm of Deckadance, which was bought earlier this year from Image-Line who are the makers of FL Studio. The update consists mostly of performance improvements and under the hood tweaks to set the stage for future releases.

Deckadance is a PC/Mac DJ app that has a small but loyal following of digital DJs who mix on controllers or DVS. It was first released back in 2007, and through the years added some then out of the box features like VST plugin hosting which lets you add third party effects like EQs, or synthesisers, and even the ability to use Deckadance as a plugin inside a separate digital audio workstation (DAW) like Ableton Live or FL Studio.

Things have been relatively quiet on the Deckadance front – that is, until now. Stanton has breathed new life into the DJ app, and we’re excited to see where the company takes Deckadance in the coming years.

• Deckadance 2.5 is now available for US$79 for the DVS edition and US$49 for Standard. Visit the Deckadance website for more details and to download a free trial.
