Serato just announced the Serato DJ 1.9 public beta that includes Pulselocker music streaming integration. The big update lets you stream over 44 million songs, and it comes with a free two-week trial subscription, so Serato DJ users can give it a go right now for free.
Hold on though if you’re reading this anywhere other than the US, UK, and Canada, as these are the only place it’ll be available in the beta period. It’ll be available in Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, and Belgium when Serato DJ 1.9 officially releases, with more regions to be added in the coming months.
Music streaming is quickly becoming the norm for music consumption, and we don’t see why it can’t be one of the core tools in a digital DJ’s music collection, especially as Pulselocker comes with public performance legality built in, and lets you store tracks offline.
• Sign up for the Serato DJ 1.9 public beta to gain access to Pulselocker integration over at the Serato DJ website.
