DJUCED, the DJ app bundled with Hercules controller, just received a hefty update. Now at version 4.1 it lets you upload your recorded sets straight to Mixcloud from within the software, letting you share your mix online and on social media. The built-in Intelligent Music Assistant also gets a new feature that automatically detects and shows you where the best mix in and mix out points are in a song, which can be handy for beginners.

A Library Cleaning Tool has also been added, which detects missing files and gives you the option to remove them in one go, along with other bug fixes and refinements.

DJUCED has come a long way – it’s now a mature digital DJing platform that is adding increasingly sophisticated features while still remaining accessible to new digital DJs and beginners. The introduction of the Hercules Inpulse 300 last year was in step with this sleek new era for DJUCED, which we think is the right way forward for the app. The Mixcloud integration and Intelligent Music Assistant tweaks in this latest update are welcome additions, making it a more capable app.
