The Magma Vektor stand can be easily folded away and quickly reassembled, making it an ideal solution for controller DJs in cramped DJ booths.

DJ equipment company Magma has released the Vektor laptop and DJ equipment stand, with a design that’s similar to the now-iconic (but decidedly pricey) Crane Stand. The Vektor is designed to support a laptop, DJ controller, or other production equipment like the Native Instruments Maschine, Ableton Push 2 or Novation Launchpad.

We took a look at the Magma Vektor back in NAMM 2017, and liked it; the stand can be easily folded away and quickly reassembled to the height and angle you require, and the base is thin enough to be placed underneath a mixer, turntable, or controller. This makes it an ideal solution for laptop DJs in cramped DJ booths.

Why use a laptop stand?

If you DJ with a laptop, a laptop stand is an ideal way to increase the space available on your DJ desk or in the booth when gigging. A stand can also save you from the backaches and pains associated with hunching over a laptop.

• The Magma Vektor laptop stand is available now for US$89. Find out more on the Magma website.
