MegaSeg, the radio automation and DJ mixing platform for Mac, has just had a major upgrade to version 6, with a new interface and dozens of new features and improvements designed to take advantage of macOS Sierra.
Improvements include resizable current song player, auto volume sensing for automated segues, a new playlist browser with improved sort, search, and display modes, full track waveforms with draggable loop in/out points, and album art displays within the track progress rings
MegaSeg comes in Pro and DJ versions, the latter more for straight DJing, the former aimed at for pro DJs/VJs, radio stations, and businesses such as restaurants and retail needing programmed music, which has always been a USP of MegaSeg.
“Radio stations, VJs, and users of other pro features will benefit from second-accurate events with a priority option for collisions, video overlays to display track info with your custom logo, the ability to view and export logs in various formats and date ranges, and easily restrict songs to specific dayparts.” says Jason Cox of Fidelity Media, the company behind the product.
• MegaSeg 6 DJ and Pro editions cost US$99 and US$199 respectively. Find out more at the MegaSeg website
