My Cloud Player is a browser-based music player for SoundCloud that packs a basic two-channel DJ interface that lets you beatsync and crossfade between two tracks streaming from SoundCloud. You can even create your own online radio station using My Cloud Player, and people can “tune in” to your stream.
It also brings advanced playlisting features, song search, and auto downloads of tracks in your streaming queue – a boon for heavy SoundCloud users who rely on the service for new music.
SoundCloud has been under fire for quite some time now, but for many it still is the place to release original productions mainly because of the sizeable community that continues to support the platform. For the intrepid crate digger, there still are a lot of great original tunes uploaded on the service, along with the occasional bootlegs that slip through the copyright cracks. While you probably won’t spin your next gig using My Cloud Player’s DJ interface, it’s serviceable for quickly checking streaming song mixes and maybe even for “DJing” back to mines.
