Here’s a world exclusive for you from Digital DJ Tips, the very first public showing of a brand new turntable from Denon DJ, the Denon DJ VL12. And unlike so many DJ turntables out there, this hasn’t literally come from the same mould as the competition – it’s engineered from the ground up by Denon.
Specs, price and availability are of course a little way off as yet (they only had one model, and it was under glass – so thanks to Denon for kindly removing said casing for us to make this video), so take a watch for yourself and let’s figure out together what this is all about. One thing I can say is build quility is exactly as you’d expect from the brand.
Judging from the Denon DJ stand’s prominence and size right at the front of the hall here at NAMM, and the fact that the brand has casually tossed out a turntable alongside the MCX8000, I think it’s safe to assume that we are going to be hearing a lot more from Denon DJ this year…

In the words of saccharine songsmith Jamie Lawson, I wasn’t expecting that! Were you? What do you think of this turntable from first look? Let us know your thoughts in the comments…
