Pioneer Pro Audio just unveiled the XPRS series of compact speakers ahead of NAMM 2016. There are two active loudspeaker models to choose from (XPRS15 which has a 15″ woofer, and XPRS12 with a 12″ woofer), and the XPRS215S which is a companion 15″ dual subwoofer bass bin. The XPRS15 and XPRS12 come with four EQ modes to suit a variety of applications (including one when using it as a floor wedge monitor).
It’s the kind of system a working DJ might want for a complete mobile set-up, and while it’s not cheap, for under €3000 you can have a pair of Pioneer Pro speakers that are up for an array of tasks.
