Keeping an emergency USB flash drive on hand when DJing with a CDJ/XDJ or Denon Prime set-up is a great idea, but you can go the extra mile and add a couple more things to make that thumb drive even more useful in moments where you may have a software or hardware issue.
Even if you are just using a spare channel on the venue’s DJ mixer for a controller, there is a good chance there may be a media player plugged into another channel, so keeping some music prepared on a flash drive for emergency situations can be a life saver.
Do you pack an emergency USB thumb drive in your DJ bag? What’s in it? Let us know in the comments.
