New features in detail…

Here are more details on the new features:

  • M1/Big Sur: If you’re an M1 Mac owner, don’t jump in too quickly: While most hardware works with Serato DJ Pro on your computer, some is still in testing or just plain unsupported. Go to this page for the lowdown
  • Phase: Users of the wireless scratch system Phase will be pleased to know that there is no need for RCA cables when using Phase any more, as Phase is an official accessory. That also means improved accuracy, reduced latency, and new features when connecting Phase through USB, such as Phase battery level meters in Serato DJ Pro. More about Phase and Serato here
  • Offline streaming: “Offline Locker” in Beatport LINK and Beatsource LINK means you don’t have to be connected to the internet to play tracks from those music streaming services that you’ve previously cached locally. You can try both services on a free 30-day trial: Go here for more info
