Output just launched Arcade, a software plugin and sounds library platform that lets DJ/producers easily tweak, transform and mangle loops and samples to make them sound entirely like their own. Arcade contains thousands of curated sounds and kits for you to use, with new sounds being added daily. The sounds can match the tempo and musical key of DAW, making dropping them into your project easy.
Arcade comes with built-in effects, modifiers, a 15-channel mixer, and an onscreen piano keyboard for pitching sounds up and down. You can even upload your own loops and samples for use with Arcade. It’s also got an offline mode so you don’t need to be connected to the internet to use it.
We think it’s an awesome way to quickly add professional production elements to your tune. We’re big on using loops and samples to get you a great-sounding track quickly – if you’re not even interested in sound design, why waste time learning how to craft the “perfect kick drum” when someone who’s made a career developing kick drums has already made one that’s readily available?
