Fanburst is a new platform for DJ/producers to upload their original music to – it’s like SoundCloud, but with a less cluttered interface, unlimited track uploads, and no monthly fees. There are also no ads to interrupt your listening experience. Big dance music name artists like ODESZA and Bonobo are already on the platform, along with popular blog sites and labels like Dancing Astronaut, Trap Nation and Darker Than Wax.
It’s nice to see another outlet for DJ/producers to host their tracks on, especially one that’s free. The developers behind Fanburst also said that 320kbps MP3 and FLAC hi-res streaming are in the works, so having these formats alone could already mean a better music streaming quality experience compared to SoundCloud.
• Fanburst is currently in beta and is free to register. Check the Fanburst site for more details.
