Minirig just announced Minirig Mini, its most compact powered Bluetooth speaker yet – it’s so small it can be slipped in your pocket. It’s got a 52mm speaker driver (most DJ headphones hover between 40-50mm) and Minirig claims that it delivers deep bass given its size. It has a built-in rechargeable battery that lasts up to 30 hours on a single charge, and it’s compatible with other existing models including the Minirig 2 as well as the companion Minirig Subwoofer.
We loved the original Minirig because of its small size and power, making it great for road trips and holidays. Bluetooth connectivity makes streaming audio from a smart device convenient, but the option of being able to plug in your DJ controller with an 1/8″ cable means DJs can use it for DJing on the go without any latency issues. Minirig Mini looks to continue this tradition of quality and versatility in an even more compact package. Watch out for our review of it soon – for now, check out the promo video below.
