Last year from NAMM we brought you an exclusive video of the Mixars Duo scratch mixer (featuring me throwing Z-Trip off the decks to film it; all I can say is he’s a very gracious man…). Here at NAMM 2017, Mixras is premiering an altogether more involved mixer: The Mixars Quattro.
This professional four-channel mixer has a dual USB audio connection, 16 RGB control pads and effect control section with four hardware effects (Filter, Noise, Gate, Crush) for each channel, an additional hardware FX section with 14 additional effects, send/return, and a dedicated sampler volume.
It provides all the pro features required at this level including browsing the library, loading tracks, controlling sync, and creating and modifying auto loops, and much more. what’s more it’s competely Midi mappable, with 24-bit digital output and a choice of two mic inputs. We’ll bring you a close-up video of it as soon as the show opens., but for now, enjoy the pics…
• The Mixars Quattro will retail in the US at $1499, and will work with a forthcoming version of Serato. Availability Spring 2017.
