This DJ-oriented service aims to make it easy for DJ/producers to get their electronic-based music on all the streaming services and stores that matter, including the holy grail: Beatport.

It’s always been a big challenge for DJ/producers: Getting your music onto Beatport. In the past you needed to be on a record label (or own one) to have chance. But new service Ditto DJ Plus, from Ditto Music Promotion, claims to change all that.

This Beatport-approved service lets you keep all the profits from sales or streams of your music; offers unlimited distribution to all the biggest electronic music stores including Beatport, Juno and Track It Down; also gets your tune or tunes on iTunes, Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Google Play, Deezer and more; and only charges £99 ($99) a year for its service.

The service also looks after your royalty payments offering monthly payouts and access to a “personal analytics dashboard” for managing releases, tracking sales and accessing data.

It appears at first glance to automate the setting up of your own “record label” which seems to be how it can get your stuff onto Beatport, but if it works well, who cares how it does it? It’s a great leap forwards from services such as Tunecore that conspicuously don’t offer this vital missing part of the puzzle.

We’ll bring you a review of this service once we’ve had time to check it out, but it certainly looks promising at first glance.
