Hey guys, I'm new here and need some help. I've been using TSP for a while now but recently decidied to go down the controller route as I'm short on space at my little flat! Anyway I bought a VMS2 which turned up yesterday and first impressions were good. Didn't really want to use the included VDJ LE so I downloaded a mapping for Traktor. Installed the tsi file and noticed something rather strange. the EQ's on channel 1 (deck A) all seemed to work fine as did the line fader, gain etc. Then I moved the knobs on deck B and to my surprise everything on deck B also moved everything on Deck A! Line fader, EQ's and Gain for some reason seem to be linked to Deck A, Is there anyway to remap it so they work on seperate channels or is it something simple I've overlooked? Sounds like a dodgy mapping. Mapping Traktor is not easy, I'd go looking for another better mapping first, or put a weekend aside (and buy The Traktor Bible) if you choose to do it yourself.
I've looked everywhere on the web for a different mapping and it always comes up with the same 2, one with effects and one without and they are both available from the American Audio website and TraktorFreaks! I'm completely baffled!
There is mapping that i mostly made by myself. (it's heavily customised,) 4 hotcues, filter, efect on/off and leds show many things. It might be little hard to get hang of it. and remember external mixing mode. http://depositfiles.com/files/qxln4sksr I know old topic but this might help someone
