Hi - I'm a brand new member based in Canada and a DJ working weddings and parties on weekends. I have just made the crossover into the wonderful world of digital and need some advice. I chose to work with MixMeister Fusion software, my old Numark DM1001X mixer (RCA inputs), a Peavey CS1000 (1000 watts) pre amp and a Behringer Xenyx 302 USB audio interface. I can't get the headphone preview when it's all wired up and configured. If I do get the preview, I lose the audio through the speakers. Can someone suggest what I need to purchase to run MixMeister Fusion? Thanks in advance for helping me make the leap! Drumbum.
I have no idea of half of your setup but can tell you one thing for sure: You need a 4-out (2 stereo out) sound card, and the Behringer I am pretty sure isn't.
Phil - Thanks very much for responding. I'm going to return the Behringer and go with the 4 output that you suggest. My guitarist suggested the same thing so I'm off to pick up something like an M-Audio Delta 44 that will do what I need it to do. Love your site! DB.
Phil - A friend of mine was in Vancouver so I asked him to go to Tom Lee and get me an Electrix Ebox 44 - 4 inputs and 4 outputs. I got my money back on the Behringer and I should be good to go. Thanks again for your time and advice. Drumbum.
