Been using Tractor 3.1 a bit but only basic mixing stuff. I wanna learn about cues and other features. Saw your posts & am impressed with your grip on the product. Any ideas how I can further my knowledge on the product ?? Rgds-Prakash.

if you look in the menu in traktor and look in the manuel you might find some stuff its a long time since myself and many others have used traktor 3 though, search for ean golden on youtube and you might see some videos but would recommend upgrading to traktor pro 2

Hello everyone, My name is Steven and I go by the stage name of mr stifffy,
I currently reside on the site of djtechtools but have come to check this site lots since its very similar and I feel I can learn/ help a lot of others here.
I myself play electro and dubstep and tinker in a bit of trance/house when I get bored.

Im a carpenter/architect by trade and love it but music has always been a huge passion, im the only person in my family to be into music. Ive played bass for 11 years, guitar for 5, drums for 5 and helped bands with sound tech back in my teen years :).

I feel like im fairly creative when it comes to mapping in traktor and thanks to all the people at djtechtools (many are on here also) I feel that im pretty good at it aswell so if anyone ever needs help feel free to ask :), If I dont know ill make sure to find out for you as it may help me one day also.... Ive tried nearly every combo of mapping and when people see me play live they think its really unusua.
I have 1 controller (numark omni control) for basic function of eq's seek tempo etc.. and also have a hercules mp3 e2 for cue points, fadder fx, loops, fx select, bass kills, and even a knob for crossfade which i use more then a cross fader ;) (try it its really easy to blend) but yeah you kinda have to see how I have it mapped to understand since it just seems like a normal mapping ill give some hints (cross fader for fx deck1 on, wet dry and all levels when turned up), have jog wheels along with buttons and two bass knobs for full control over fx deck 2 which is in advance mode, I have my line faders for loop amount and the headphone buttons above each for loop on/off, I have an encoder and - + buttons that are a and b decks so i hold and turn encoder for gain levels, then i have 4 cues on each deck and with a shift button this is 4 preprogrammed fx combos for each fx deck... this is a little taster ;)
