American DJ Releases Compact Jelly Gressor Light Effect

American DJ just launched a new model in its ADJ Startec Series called the Jelly Gressor. It’s a two-in-one “moonflower” lighting effect that emits light beams from its six LEDs apart from the glow coming from the Jelly Gressor’s transparent plastic case. It’s suitable for mobile DJs and for jocks who need to bring some extra lighting effects to their shows, and since it syncs to the music you’re playing automatically, you can just set it up and let it do its job all night.

Coming in at just under US$150, the Jelly Gressor would be a cool budget add-on to your mobile lighting rig, especially if you do quite a bit of those UV / black light throwback raves and parties (remember the 90s?). Pair it with some staple effects in your lighting tree like Par LEDs or moving heads, and you’ve got a portable light show you can take with you to all your gigs.
