SoundCloud has slashed the price of its top-tier SoundCloud Go+ streaming music service from US$9.99 per month to just US$1 for three months. The main feature of SoundCloud Go+ is the ability to listen to over 150 million tracks offline and ad-free. Tracks are saved on your device, so that you can still listen to them without an internet connection.
SoundCloud Go and SoundCloud Go+ are the company’s new paid subscription services, which are currently being rolled out. SoundCloud Go allows you to stream and share more than 120 million tracks, offline and ad-free. The premium version of the service, SoundCloud Go+, offers the same deal but gives you full access to all tracks on SoundCloud. In case you were wondering, the original SoundCloud that we all know will remain business as usual, supported by advertising.
It was long expected that SoundCloud would move towards a paid subscription streaming service and it is of course, nothing new. If you’re a SoundCloud or SoundCloud Go user and you’ve been curious about the highest tier SoundCloud Go+ offering, this is your chance to get it at huge savings.
