Pioneer DJ just announced the HRM-5 and HRM-6 studio monitor headphones here at Musikmesse 2016. Meant for music production monitoring, both headphones feature adjustable headbands, detachable cables, and swivel earcups with isolation thanks to their memory foam ear pads. The HRM-5 has 40mm drivers, while the HRM-6 has 40mm HD drivers which aim to bring greater sound clarity in the high frequencies.
More electronic music is being made at home and on the road, which means you need a decent pair of cans to monitor your productions. It also helps to have headphones that don’t possess the same low-end bump / bass boost that we sometimes love about our DJ cans.
The HRM-5 and HRM-6 are already on our review list. Expect our hands-on coverage of them from the Musikmesse floor in the coming days.
